Please, I need study habits that are majorly and proven effective!?

Okay, so I'm actually procrastinating now, but I really want to get on with my work after this. Look, I need advice from a super smart honor student here. I need ways to be the top of the class, to be the smartest cookie, and to be the one to beat. I just don't know how. Please help me. Oh, and kindly give me advice on how to recite more frequently. You see, I'm having a difficulty regarding this because I usually construct a sentence in my head first before speaking, so I get beaten by other students in class who are quick thinkers.
